Electrical and RF signals combined on a single rotating axis
The SVTS A 06-S-X-00/12 is a compact slip ring combining 12 electrical circuits rated at 2 A with an RF coaxial connection up to 3 GHz, within a 22 mm outer diameter and IP51 protection. This configuration centralises multiple electrical signals and RF transmission, including HD-SDI or 3G-SDI, through the same rotating axis.
These units are available in many standard configurations from 8 to 24 circuits alongside to the coax RF channel. Due to their small ring diameter, the SVTS A 06 series grants low peripheral speed between brushes and rings, as well as reduced dynamic imbalance that means very low wear and long life. For RF signals, the SVTS A 06 series offers a rotating coaxial contact which allows to transfer signals up to 3Gbps depending of the used cable type. SVTS A 06 offers many option letting you choose coax cable and corresponding connectors types.
Unit particuly fit to transmit hi definition video signals (1080p/3G-SDI or 1080i/HD-SDI). Normally used coaxial cables : RG178, RG316 and RG174.
