Slip Ring | 18 circuits | SVTS C 03-U-A-00/18
More connections around a compact through-bore axis
The SVTS C03 is a through-bore slip ring designed to transmit signals and electrical circuits through a continuously rotating axis. Its 12.7 mm through-bore provides additional central space for a shaft, axis or other elements required by the machine design.
Available with 6, 12, 18 or 24 circuits rated at 5 A, the SVTS C03 provides higher electrical capacity than the miniature C01 and C02 models. Its multipoint contact technology supports stable electrical transmission, low contact resistance and reduced wear during operation.
Its through-bore architecture facilitates integration into rotary tables, indexing systems, automated machinery and other mechanisms requiring a central passage while transmitting electrical connections between stationary and rotating parts.
Depending on the configuration, the SVTS C Series can also be adapted for fieldbus and high-speed data transmission up to 1000 Mbit/s.
Advantages
- 12.7 mm through-bore
- 6, 12, 18 or 24 circuits depending on configuration
- Rated current up to 5 A per circuit
- Multipoint contact technology
- Low electrical contact resistance
- Reduced contact wear
- Central passage facilitates mechanical integration
- Compliant to CE and RoHS
Benefits
- Maintains a 12.7 mm central passage for a shaft, cables or other elements running through the axis
- Allows up to 24 circuits rated at 5 A to be transmitted around the central mechanical passage
- Meets the needs of architectures requiring more current and connections than a miniature slip ring
- Avoids routing electrical connections away from the axis when the central space must remain available for mechanical components
